Chargers’ Quentin Jammer has a broken hand

According to Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune, Chargers cornerback Quentin suffered a broken hand in Monday night’s loss to the Raiders.

“Sources said Jammer broke his hand. It is unknown how it will affect his Week 2 status. Jammer has missed just two games and three starts since 2003,” Gehlken reported.

The Chargers also lost cornerback Shareece Wright to a sprained ankle in the same night.

“Wright sprained his ankle, a source said, and its severity is unclear with a second opinion forthcoming. Surgery is not expected to be required based on the preliminary evaluation,’ reported Gehlken.
