Chargers linebacker gets probation after beating up a bar employee (Video)

Back on December 29th of 2013,  Chargers linebacker Thomas Keiser headed to a local San Diego bar to celebrate a win over the Chiefs.  He ended up getting drunk and then throwing an employee to the floor and punched him repeatedly.

Keiser ended up being charged with misdemeanor battery and posted the $8,000 bail.

Back on March 24th,  Keiser pled guilty in order for him to agree to a plea deal that included a fine, probation, and 20 hours of anger management counseling.

ABC 10 has the details

Sources said a manager told Keiser’s father he was cut off from the bar because he had too much to drink. The linebacker bought another round anyway, and that is when the manager threw father and son both out, according to a source.

A source said Keiser then re-entered the bar and attacked the employee in what the owners called an “ambush.”

ABC 10 ended up airing video of the incident.
