The Washington Redskins have activated cornerback Cedric Griffin now that his four game suspension for performance enhancing drugs has ended.
Griffin says he’s in shape and ready to go.
“I’m here to play football, so I came back in shape. I’m ready to go,” Griffin said, per the Washington Times. “So when my number is called, I go out there on the field and try to contribute.”
Griffin is confident he’ll play well in playoffs.
“I’m going to continue to play how I play. The coaches put me in great positions when I was out there on the field and they’ll continue to do the same thing,” Griffin said. “I’m going to go out there, execute what I got to do and try to go out there and get a win.”
