The Cincinnati Bengals offense and defense plan on getting together this week to workout in separate locations. Offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth has gathered everyone from the offense together except for one player.
“I’ve invited the entire offense,” Whitworth said, in a phone interview while he sat behind home plate watching a Dodgers-Reds game Sunday at Great American Ball Park. “We’ll see tomorrow what guys are here. I know all the quarterbacks will be there, excluding Carson (Palmer).”
Palmer is still sticking to his plan of retiring if the Bengals don’t release or trade him to another NFL team. On the other side, Bengals owner Mike Brown continues to refuse to trade Palmer.
