The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have confirmed that defensive tackle Gerald McCoy’s season is now over after tearing the bicep’s muscle in his right arm.
McCoy missed a good portion of last season due to the same injury, but it was his left arm.
Buccaneers head coach Raheem Morris isn’t concerned about McCoy’s future now that he’s been unable to finish the first two season’s of his NFL career.
“That’s football,” said Morris. “Matt Stafford missed two seasons for the Detroit Lions and he’s probably playing his best football right now. He’s got to come back, he’s got to rehab, he’s got to get his mind right and come back ready to play, and be ready to play a 16-game season.”Follow PFZ on Twitter @ProFootballZone
