According to Seattle Seahawks owner Paul Allen, his team has acquired tight end Kellen Winslow Jr. in a trade with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for an undisclosed 2013 draft pick.
I’ll admit, I was wrong. I really thought Winslow would be released, since it was believed that he didn’t have much trade value. This is the second time in his career that he’s been traded. He was traded back in 2009 from the Cleveland Browns to the Buccaneers.
Winslow is a nice addition for the Seahawks. They can team him up with Zach Miller and have a nice tight end tandem that will hopefully give opposing defenses some problems.
