Running back Peyton Hillis has stated that he wants to re-sign with the Cleveland Browns, the only problem is that the feeling is only partially mutual.
According to Mike Freeman of CBSSports.com, the Browns are uncertain whether or not they want to re-sign Hillis, since part of the organization wants to move on and draft Alabama’s Trent Richardson and the other part wants to re-sign Hillis.
Freeman believes the Browns will end up letting Hillis walk and go with Rchardson, but no one knows for sure what will happen at this point.
I think Hillis is worth keeping, but I’d go with Richardson since he’s younger and running backs don’t last long anyway. Hillis likely only has a few more good years left in him, where as Richardson should be good for next six to eight seasons.
