According to the National Football Post, some people around the NFL believe the Cleveland Browns could end up deciding to trade quarterback Brandon Weeden, since their new front office isn’t very fond of him as a player.
Is trading Brandon Weeden a possibility for the Browns? Some around the league think so. The belief is that the new management team of Joe Banner and Mike Lombardi don’t think much of Weeden, and they could try to deal him when they can get something for him.
I think the Browns will look for a quarterback in free agency. But ultimately I believe Banner and Lombardi wouldn’t mind using a pick in this year’s draft to acquire their future starting quarterback. I think they could target a quarterback in between the second and fourth round.
