According to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer, the Browns are focusing their attention on five NFL prospects that they’re interested in drafting in the first round of April’s draft.
The five players are, quarterback Robert Griffin III, wide receiver Justin Blackmon, running back Trent Richardson, cornerback Morris Claiborne, and quarterback Ryan Tannehill.
If the Browns want to draft Griffin III they’ll likely have to trade up and acquire the second overall pick. They could also decide to trade down and still get Tannehill, who’s draft stock has certainly risen lately.
The only way I believe the Browns will draft Richardson, is if they don’t plan on re-signing running back Peyton Hillis.
