According to Steve Doerschuk of CantonRep.com, Cleveland Browns general manager Tom Heckert has made it clear that they’re not interested in Peyton Manning. However, they are interested in Matt Flynn once he hits the open market next week.
Heckert also mentioned that the Browns might decide to trade up, he obviously can’t confirm anything.
I like the way the Browns are going about things, I wouldn’t blame them at all for signing Flynn over Manning or Robert Griffin III.
Flynn will cost less and is just as much of a gamble as a guy like RGIII, who’ll cost a ton to trade for.
