We just reported that the Jaguars don’t want Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman. Now it looks like another team feels the same way.
According to ProFootballTalk.com, the Browns also aren’t interested in trading for Freeman.
Per a league source, the franchise that doesn’t seem to want its 2012 first-round quarterback doesn’t want Tampa’s 2009 first-round quarterback, either.
The Browns remain in the hunt for a franchise quarterback. They’ll presumably target one in the draft. Unless Brian Hoyer becomes a franchise-type guy on the fly.
I don’t think anyone is going to trade for Freeman, since he’s owed over $6 million for the remainder of the season.
