Broncos fans being pooped on by pigeons

According to Todd Walker of the Denver Post, Broncos fans are having a hard time enjoying themselves  as they cheer for their beloved football team.  The problem is there are bunch of pigeons that live at the top of the Sports Authority Field and they’re relieving themselves right on the fans.

Broncos fans who paid big money for their seats say pigeons living overhead are doing their business right into the crowd, and it’s been going on for years.

Fans in section 306 say the birds have nested in the rafters of the overhang at the club level, and nothing has been done about their complaints.

Allison Harden and her husband Jeff say they were guests of a season ticket holder at Sunday night’s game. Allison says before the first snap, she had already been hit with pigeon droppings.

Andy Gorchov, General Manager of Stadium Management Company, which takes care of maintenance at Sports Authority Field released the following statement: “We strive to ensure that all fans have a positive experience during Broncos games, and their safety and comfort is our No. 1 priority. Unfortunately, outdoor stadiums do sometimes have issues with birds.”

Now I have another reason to stay home and not attend games.  I can’t imagine trying to enjoy a football and having to worry about birds pooping on me.

The problem with Pigeons is that they can carry diseases in their droppings, which could make the fans sick.  The Broncos could ultimately have a lawsuit on their hands if they don’t take care of this quickly.
