Broncos fan petitions the NFL to remove Joe Flacco banner from Mile High Stadium

After losing to the Ravens during last year’s playoffs,  the last thing a Broncos fan wants to see is a Joe Flacco banner on the outside of their stadium.

The problem is that the Ravens can’t host this year’s NFL season opener the way every Super Bowl champion has been doing for the past several years.

A Broncos fan that goes by the name “Broncos Nation” posted the petition below on

The petition reads:

Roger Goodell, @nflcommish, National Football League
Take the Joe Flacco signage off my Mile High Stadium! Broncos Nation will not endure this detestable and audacious act. Who in their right mind thought that we would just let this fly?! We stand united against your unbearable Joe Flacco signage.
[Your name]

The Broncos tried to explain things to their fans on Twitter.

Local radio host Peter Burns didn’t help the situation with the tweet below.

Denver fans then decided to lay into him.

The petition is stupid, but Burns is asking fans to be rational.  The two don’t go together.

While I could care less, to add to the story you must remember Flaaco also made a few comments about what he thought of Denver last year that I have a feeling the Bronco’s fans still remember. lol

  2. Nate says

If you didn’t want a Flacco sign up there than you shouldn’t have choked for like the 100th time in your playoff career, uh, Peyton…

  3. Dwight Haverkorn says

I believe that the NFL should post a similar poster of Peyton Mannings at the Ravens stadium for the same length of time the Flake-o’s is up in Denver!
