Brian Hartline: Ryan Tannehill’s improvment has been amazing

It is easy to forget that there was another rookie quarterback that started last year who wasn’t named Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, or Russell Wilson. The Miami Dolphins also started their own rookie in Ryan Tannehill. While not consistent (especially towards the end of the year), Tannehill showed flashes of what he could become in the coming years and he’d definitely has the support of his coaches and teammates.

Via Palm Beach Post the player who caught the most passes from Tannehill calls his improvement “amazing”.

He’s making every throw, his deep ball looks awesome, and he’s got great touch — you don’t feel like it’s a rocket coming into your hands,” Brian Hartline said, via the Palm Beach Post. “His improvement has been amazing

His offensive coordinator has already made the promise that Tannehill will show the most improvement amongst second-year quarterbacks.

This young man will be the most improved quarterback in the NFL from year one to year two this year… “I promise you that”

The Dolphins are in a good place right now. They obviously got better during free agency. If Tannehill can show that “big jump” that his teammates have been talking about and with all the distractions in New England this year, there might be a new division winner in the AFC East.
