Brandon Weeden: “I don’t need 5-year-old kids telling me how to play the quarterback position”

After allowing criticism from fans and the media get to him last season,  Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden says he doesn’t pay any attention to it now.

“It’s pretty simple for me,” he said via the Cleveland Plain-Dealer. “I don’t listen to outside noise. (I’ve) gotten rid of Twitter and all that junk. I don’t need 5-year-old kids telling me how to play the quarterback position, so it’s made it really easy. It hasn’t been an issue. I’ve got great support in this locker room.

“It’s the farthest thing from a distraction for me. I don’t get tied up in it. My main focus is getting better. I’ve only played 20 games in this league and I’ve got a long ways to go to continue to get better.”

Weeden better keep on focusing because he’s only seemed to get worse this season.  He could end up being a viable back up with the right team.

Pathetic article. Clearly you don’t own/use a spell-checker or grammer checker as I lost count of all the errors. Also loved (hated) the misrepresentation that apparently all of the Cleveland fan base uses Twitter. That’s just a f’n stupid comment. I’m dumber for having read this article.
