After a great season in 2012 with the Raiders, many people are wondering why Giants tight end Brandon Myers has been invisible this season.
According to the Newark Star-Ledger, Myers has been struggling with his blocking as well as his option routes as a receiver.
The fifth-year pro has struggled with his blocking – that’s not his game – and to get on the same page with quarterback Eli Manning. In the Giants’ passing game, the tight end runs a lot of options routes in which they alter their pattern depending on what the defense does. Both he and the quarterback must see the same thing and adjust.
The Giants offense has been getting better over the past few weeks, but they could use some help from Myers.
