According to Jeff Darlington of NFL.com, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall admitted during practice this week for the Pro Bowl, that he’s already reached out Packers quarterback Matt Flynn.
“You’ve got some guys in the draft, but there’s not too many guys out there just walking the streets,” Marshall said. “Matt is available. … We’ve talked. I reached out to him. I get it from Ray Lewis. Around this time of year, players talk to players.”
Marshall also thought Matt Moore had a great year in Miami this past season.
“Obviously, Matt had a great year,” Marshall said. “You don’t want to take anything away from Matt, but I think we really bring in somebody who can compete and make the team better.
“We need someone who is going to grab a hold of our offense, hold everyone accountable and be that leader.”
Even though Moore had a good season in 2011, Marshall knows he needs a franchise quarterback under center next season in Miami and that could be Flynn.

I hope that the Dolphins are able to convince Flynn to sign with the team. for the first time in almost a decade I’m excited for this year. I hope the Fish can start building successful seasons.
I agree. I think Flynn would be a great fit. I think Miami deserves something to be excited about. Let’s just hope Flynn doesn’t become the next Kevin Kolb!
I think Marshall should worry more about catching passes. He has dropped more than his share of balls. What kind of receiver changes their route whenever he chooses? A selfish one! He is a big cry baby who hasn’t gotten the job done since he came to Miami. I wish Henne all the best and hope he lands in a city where they appreciate his talent. The entire Miami franchise is a train wreck.
I’d have to disagree with u terry about marshall. regardless of the mistakes hes had back to back 1000 yrds recieving years at Miami with the shotty offense. He’s a pro bowl caliber WR and with a better QB he coulda been even better. Still a top 10 WR regardless of his issues and i’d say he’s gotten the job done if hes making pro bowl, players, coaches and the fans seem to agree. hes miami’s biggest weapon along side bush
