We recently reported that Bills quarterback Kevin Kolb has been struggling in camp so far.
During an appearance on SiriusXM NFL Radio’s “Moving the Chains, Bills general manager Doug Whaley sounded like a man ready to have rookie quarterback E.J. Manuel start right away.
“Most successful quarterbacks have that ‘it’ factor. (Manuel) has that ‘it’ factor,” Whaley said, via NFL.com. “When he walks into a room, there’s a presence and people take notice. He’s going to be the face of our franchise, and it’s not too big for him.”
Now that Kolb suffered a knee injury, things are set up for Manuel to solidify his spot as the Bills starter.
