Bills fans boycotting Bon Jovi’s music

billslogoBills are fans are ruing one another to boycott the music of Jon Bon Jovi in order to help keep the team in Buffalo.

Buffalo area businesses and performers are being asked not to play or sing the music of Jon Bon Jovi.

That’s part of the strategy of 12th Man Thunder, a Buffalo Bills fan group, for keeping the team in Buffalo.

The group is offering free signs to local bars, restaurants and other businesses that pledge to stop playing any music by the rock star, who is interested in buying the team and moving it to Toronto.

“Someone’s coming here and trying to take our team away,” said Charles Pellien, a co-founder of the fan group, per the Buffalo News.

The 12th Man Thunder was formed in 2012 and its mission includes giving Buffalo Bills fans a voice during the sale of the franchise and supporting ownership groups committed to keeping the team in Western New York.

The group also has an online petition to help keep the Bills in western New York.
