Bills’ don’t tender Donald Jones, he’s now a free agent

According to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun, the Buffalo Bills decided not to place a tender on restricted free agent Donald Jones, which now makes him a free agent immediately.

The Bills were reportedly working on a deal with him, but things apparently fell through.  It’s kind of surprising they gave up so early on trying to get a deal done.

Jones will be free to sign with any team once free agency begins when the new league year officially launches on March 12th.
