Bengals sign BenJarvus Green-Ellis to three-year deal

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Cincinnati Bengals have signed free agent running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis to a three-year deal.  We don’t know the specific numbers of the deal at this time.

Now that the Bengals have moved on from Cedric Benson, Green-Ellis will give them a nice veteran presence in their back field.

Green-Ellis carried the ball 181 times for 667 yards and got into the end zone 11 times in 2011.  He’s also never fumbled in his career.

This is a sad day for the Patriots this is the one area I find Bellicheck lacking he lets ggod players like the law firm”Ellis” up and leave never fumbles had the strngth to bull throgh the line into the endzone and was always productive when his number was called he was Faulks replacement and now they are going to rely on Woodhead I think he is a decent running back but too small eventually one of the linebackers or linemen are going to hurt him and then what running back by committe we needed a nasty back like Corey Dillon whom he should have kept one more year and they would have repeated but then again its Toms show to lose.
