According to Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer, the Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to terms with former Arizona State linebacker Vontaze Burfict, who ended up going undrafted this weekend.
Burfict was touted a potential first round pick back in February and he quickly took a dive down teams’ draft boards because of the notion that he’s a free lancer on the field and doesn’t like listening to his coaches.
When Burfict got to the scouting combine he posted some horrific numbers in the forty yard dash and many of the other drills that were conducted.
The Bengals signed Burfict because they’re thin at the linebacker position and head coach Marvin Lewis has reportedly been interested in him the entire time.
