Ben Roethlisberger isn’t crazy about running the wildcat

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger made it clear on his weekly radio show that he’s not crazy about running the Wildcat.

“It’s not that I don’t like it,” Roethlisberger said Tuesday on his radio show, per via “If it helps us win, I’m all for it. I just told coach I get actually physically tired running out to wide receiver all the time.”

Big Ben also seems to not mind getting hit by opposing defenders when he’s lined up as a receiver.

“They can (take a shot at me),” he said. “I’m a little bigger than those defensive backs. I wouldn’t want them to try it.”

I thought the Wildcat was dead.  This goes to show you how bad the Steelers running game was before Le’Veon Bell came back.  They had to jump start things some how.
