With today’s completion of Brandon Hardin’s four-year, $2.7 million contract, the Chicago Bears have now signed their entire 2012 NFL draft class, according to Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun Times.
The Bears chose Hardin with the 79th overall pick in the third round of this year’s draft. In his college career at Oregon State, the 6-2, 222 pound safety amassed 105 total tackles, one interception, three forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 38 starts. He missed the entire 2011 regular season due to injury.
The other players the Bears drafted this year were Shea McClellin (DE, Boise St.), Alshon Jeffery (WR, South Carolina), Evan Rodriguez (TE, Temple), Isaiah Frey (CB, Nevada), and Greg McCoy (CB, TCU)
