Beanie Wells doesn’t believe he’ll be in Arizona next season

Cardinals running back Beanie Wells doesn’t think he’ll be calling Arizona home next season.  He believes he’ll end up playing for one of the other 31 NFL teams.

“That’s my mind-set,” Wells said, a day after he was benched following a fumble that was recovered and returned for a touchdown in Arizona’s 28-13 loss to the Chicago Bears. “I’m just going to go out there and put my best foot forward for all the 31 other teams that’s watching.”

Asked to confirm if he felt his days were numbered with the Cardinals, Wells replied:

“Oh, without a doubt. It’s inevitable.”

Wells won’t be able to command a lot of money in the open market because of how injury prone he’s been over the course of his career.  But there’s no doubt that when he’s healthy, he’s a very good running back.

Beanie it took you this long to decide to start playing. You have been playing in AZ and have been a huge disappointment. Good luck with your audition and hopefully you don’t see the field. I think all the teams know what they are getting with you butter fingers
