Art Monk, Darrell Green believe the Redskins should consider changing their name

Former Redskin Hall of Fame player Art Monk and Darrell Green told WTOP Radio that their former team should consider changing their name if it offends people.

“[If] Native Americans feel like Redskins or the Chiefs or [another] name is offensive to them, then who are we to say to them ‘No, it’s not’?” Monk said.

“It deserves and warrants conversation because somebody is saying, ‘Hey, this offends me,'” Green said.

I believe it says a lot when two former Redskins greats believe their team should consider changing the name.  But owner Dan Snyder has already made it clear it will never happen.

The word Redskins is just the name of a proud football franchise. It is NOT racist and NOT intended to be pejorative.
Like the 1972 Dodge Demon some liberal “Christians” complained that it was “satanic” — = give me a break.
As far as Monk and Green:
Go see a neurologist or a shrink.

Just PROVES football causes brain damage.
