The New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles will face off this coming Sunday. And it’s not a surprise that this will be a crucial early season divisional game between two bitter rivals.
The Eagles have had the Giants number as of late since the last time the Giants defeated the Eagles was week ten of the 2008 season.
One player in particular that’s killed the Giants, is Eagles receiver DeSean Jackson.
Giants safety Antrel Rolle made an appearance on 660 WFAN Radio in New York today, and explained that he believes he can handle Jackson.
“I’ve handled DeSean Jackson one on one before, don’t see why I wouldn’t be able to do it again,” said Rolle.
The Giants did a great job of locking down Jackson during last year’s game at the Meadowlands. But in the end Jackson won the game for the Eagles with his game ending punt return for a touchdown.
The difference this season is that the Giants secondary has been marred with injuries.
