New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie is making leaps and bounds in taking over the leader role Darrelle Revis vacated when he was traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He’s doing everything right. From being an apparent financial guru to now, according to NJ.Com, Cromartie plans to rent a house in California with some of his teammates. No not for baby making purposes, but to oversee the training of some of the younger teammates on the team. Some of the teammates statying with Cromartie includes Kyle Wilson, Aaron Berry, Stephen Hill, and Josh Bush. Cromartie says one of the goals is to get a “better understanding” of each other.
By us working out together and understanding each other, we get a better feel for each other, too,” Cromartie said earlier this week. “Not just here, but outside of this building. That’s something we’re trying to build on.
Cromartie when he was asked if the house would have a name: “It ain’t Cro West. It’s just the Cro Workout Regiment. Cromartie already started to take a leadership role last year with his outstanding play that led to a Pro Bowl appearance. Now he is taking the necessary steps to ensure he is the undisputed leader of the secondary and the defense.
