New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie wasn’t very happy with Reggie Bush’s comments that karma struck the Jets when Darrelle Revis tore his ACL after Jets head coach Rex Ryan talked about putting hot sauce on Bush. Which Bush took as Ryan trying to intentionally injure him.
“I don’t give a (expletive),” said Cromartie, per the New York Daily News. “I ain’t going to say what I really want to say about Reggie Bush. For him to come out and say something like that, it’s unprofessional, and not showing any sportsmanship at all.”
“To me, there’s no such thing as karma. It was a freak accident,” Cromartie said regarding Revis’ injury. “No one touched him. He turned his knee the wrong way. It’s football.”
Cromartie said he “really could care less” about Bush’s comments.
“You can’t get into the back and forth. You just got to go out and play, let your words speak in between the lines. That’s what I’m all about this year. Make sure I play the right way, within the rules,” said Cromartie.
Bush better watch out this weekend. Something tells me Cromartie may try to take him down extra hard.
