Even though Cowboys defensive end Anthony Spencer will not play this preseason after undergoing offseason knee surgery, he believes he’ll be ready for their season opener against the Giants.
“The more strength I build up, the more stuff I’m able to do in the weight room, it’s making me be able to walk a little stronger and feel less pain each day,” Spencer said Monday, via the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “So it’s getting better.”
Spencer says he’s been doing his best to stay in shape.
“I’m trying to stay a little bit conditioned,” Spencer said.
