Redskins receiver Andre Roberts admitted to SiriusXM NFL Radio that if he knew he was going to be the number three receiver with DeSean Jackson on the roster, he may not have signed with Washginton. But they ended up signing DeSean Jackson after the Eagles released him.
“I think so, I think it would have played a role,” Roberts said, per CSNWashington.com. “But at end of the day, we all know how the NFL works. And decisions are made that are out of your control. So when [Jackson] signed there, I just had a different out look on it. I think I’ll still be able to help the team out a lot and be a playmaker for this team.”
I would bet my house Roberts would have signed elsewhere if Jackson was already on the Skins’ roster.
