Washington Redskins running back Alfred Morris knows opposing defenses will be ready for this season after being the second leading rusher in the NFL during his rookie year.
“Teams this year, they know about me,” Morris told the Pensacola News Journal. “Last year, I was, in a sense, a surprise. This year, they know about me. I know it’s going to be tough because I know it’s going to be a bigger challenge, but I love a challenge. I’m looking forward to this year.”
Morris admits he was a little lost entering last season a rookie.
“Last year, I was going in there like a lost little puppy. This year … I’m a lot more confident and more comfortable.”
Morris will do just fine. He’s a great fit for Mike Shanahan’s zone-blocking rushing offense.
