Alex Smith loves his new weapons

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Alex Smith told Ian Rapoport of NFL.com that he loves the new offensive weapons that his team picked up in the offseason.
“Love it, love it,” Smith said regarding his the new offensive additions. “We had a great offseason, a lot of new faces came in, really fit in. But this is the time when real football starts, put the pads on and we’ll see what everybody’s got.“
Smith had plenty of praise for Randy Moss.
“He’s been a blast on the field and off the field,” Smith said of Moss. “Great guy, great teammate, catches everything, makes you look good as a quarterback, so it’s been great.”
It’ll be interesting to see if the 49ers pass the ball more with the new receivers they brought in during the offseason.
