According to NBC Bay Area, San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith has turned himself in to authorities for the three pending felony weapons charges that he has against him now that he’s out of rehab.
After Smith turned himself in he posted the $75,000 bond right away. He’s now due in court on November 12th for the gun charges, as well as November 19 for misdemeanor DUI and drug charges.
Self-surrendering was part of the agreement that Smith made with Santa Clara County District Attorney Jeff Rosen when he was charged with possessing illegal assault weapons on Oct. 9. Smith was in rehab at the time because of his September DUI arrest in San Jose.
The agreement was that Smith would turn himself in by the end of the month.
