According to CSNBayArea.com, San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith left Friday night’s preseason game early with a leg injury. He ended up being carted to the locker room.
“Outside linebacker Aldon Smith sustained a leg injury and was removed from the game after two plays of the Vikings’ second drive. After the 49ers’ touchdown, he was taken by cart to the locker room, presumably for X-rays,” reported CSNBayArea.com
Update: Smith suffered a hip Bruise, per CSNBayArea.com.
