Ahmad Bradshaw says the 2012 Giants thought games would be handed to them

According to Jenny Vrentas of the Newark Star-Ledger, former Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw told the NFL Network’s  NFL AM  the 2012 Giants thought games would be handed to them.

“Everybody seemed to think the season would come together in one game,” he said. “We didn’t have the chemistry we had the year before… We didn’t play together, take advantage of the opportunities we had…. Everyone thought the games would just be handed to us. It was a tough season.”

I think Bradshaw hit the nail on the head.  After watching the Giants this past season, I got the feeling that they weren’t as motivated as they’ve been in the past and thought they could sleep walk through some games. I’m sure they’ll come out firing next season.
