Adrian Peterson thinks that if he were to be shopped a team would welcome him “with open arms”

Adrian Peterson has stated that he wouldn’t mind being a Viking for life. However the closer he gets to thirty the more you begin to wonder if the feeling is mutual. Peterson could demand good value in a trade and with the Vikings not anywhere near a playoff spot, they could use the picks. Peterson believes that if his services are ever available that there would be a sizable market.

He turns 29 in March, and there has been speculation the Vikings might want to move him for draft picks in a possible rebuilding project.

“I understand that,” Peterson said. “I know this is a business and things like that happen. So if it happens, it happens. There’s not much I can’t handle. I’m sure someone will welcome me with open arms if they do decide to trade me. … But it’s a business, so if they trade me, then, hey.”-TwinCities.com

Peterson is right, there are plenty of teams out there that would be more than happy to get the best RB in the league.
