Adrian Peterson on pace to play in season-opener

Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier told the media on Tuesday that running back Adrian Peterson is on pace to play in their season-opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He’s not sure how much or if Peterson will be able to participate in training camp.
It would simply be amazing if Peterson is ready to go at the start of the regular season. The Vikings must make sure they guard him from suffering any potential set backs, because if he experiences any, his 2012 season could be in jeopardy.
