In the second quarter of the Vikings-Baltimore game, Vikings running back Adrian Peterson went down on a third down play and looked to suffer an injury as he was in obvious pain.
After failing to walk on it at the time, he was carted off the field.
Via ProFootballTalk, Peterson is getting X-Rays but is able to walk on his own. Also his right foot has a sandal instead of a boot on it.
Seeing as the Vikings aren’t in playoff contention, I doubt we’ll see Peterson again this year.
Update: Peterson has a sprained foot.
