New York Giants cornerback Aaron Ross believes their defensive line is loaded this season.
“Man, we’re loaded,” he said. “It seems like anybody you put in from the D-tackles to the D-ends — (Adrian) Tracy is coming along, (Damontre) Moore the young guy, (Justin) Tuck and them are already proven … but when you see the young guys come in and it seems like there’s not a drop-off, that’s something to look forward to. Tuck (and the veterans) can go 100 miles an hour and they can take a play or two off and there’s not a huge dropoff in performance,” said Ross, per Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News.
Even with the loss of Osi umenyiora, I believe this year’s Giants defensive line is stacked. Even with Jason Pierre-Paul recovering from back surgery, having Mathias Kiwanuka back on the defensive line on a full-time basis will help the Giants. The additions of Demontre Moore and Johnathan Hankins will also help them with their depth.
