Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was limited during Wednesday’s practice.
Head coach Mike McCarthy liked what he saw from Rodgers.
“I thought he looked good for what they asked him to do,” coach Mike McCarthy told reporters via NFL.com. “He did everything seamlessly, individual drills. Basically, he did everything he was cleared to do medically. He was in rehab mode.”
McCarthy is well aware though that Rodgers can’t play until he’s medically cleared.
“Until (Rodgers) is cleared medically,” said McCarthy, “we have to be practical about it.”
Even though Rodgers has been practicing, Matt Flynn has been taking the first-team reps. I would expect Flynn to start this week.
