Aaron Curry leaves the Giants without a contract

According to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News, free agent linebacker Aaron Curry left his visit with the Giants without a contract.

Curry, the former Seahawk and Raider who was the fourth overall pick of the 2009 draft, said via Twitter that “I have not signed” with the Giants after they worked him out and gave him a physical. He sounded pleased with the visit, which appears to be the first one of the offseason for the player that was cut by the Raiders last November. But he added his workout was a “little rough on the edges but nothing repition and hard work can’t smooth out.”

Curry also Tweeted that he “enjoyed” his workout and meetings with GM Jerry Reese, coach Tom Coughlin and linebackers coach Jim Hermann.

No one knows if the Giants made an offer to Curry. Vacchiano’s source told him that Curry will go home and may make a visit another team.
