A.J. Hawk took a $2 million pay cut to stay in Green Bay

According to the Green Bay Press-Gazette, Packers’ linebacker A.J. Hawk recently received a $2.21 million roster bonus after agreeing to take a $2 million pay cut this season.

Hawk will now get paid $3.6 million in 2013, instead of the $5.45 he was scheduled to make.

Hawk seems to always step up and sacrifice for the Packers.  in 2010 he was released and then re-siged at a lower salary.
