Veteran inside linebacker Takeo Spikes of the San Francisco 49ers will soon be wearing a San Diego Chargers Jersey. The San Diego Union-Tribune reports, Spikes is expected to sign a three year deal with the Chargers.

Chargers can use the extra body on the inside at linebacker, the team currently has five unrestricted free agents linebackers.
The deal is three years long, may seem like a long deal for a 34 year old free agent linebacker pickup who has been playing since 1998. But last season with the 49ers He had 109 tackles and three interceptions.
Spikes has never competed in a playoff game in his 13 seasons with the 49ers, moving to Southern Cal benefit him and provide with more of a realistic chance to win a Super Bowl before he retires.
