According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com, the Jacksonville Jaguars and wide receiver Justin Blackmon are expected to ramp up talks soon.
“Per a source with knowledge of the negotiations (or, more accurately, non-negotations), the two sides will start talking more seriously soon,” reported Florio.
“Complicating matters is the fact that Blackmon is sandwiched between a pair of unsigned players, Vikings tackle Matt Kalil at No. 4 and Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne at No. 6,” wrote Florio.
We just wrote yesterday that there’s a good chance Blackmon doesn’t get signed by the time training camp opens next week.
