Seattle Seahawks general manager John Schneider told 710 ESPN Radio in Seattle on Friday that running back Marshawn Lynch is leaning towards retiring.

Schneider made it clear he doesn’t know what Lynch plans on doing next.
“I would have no idea,” he said. “I just know that we’re going to treat him with as much respect as we possibly can here and give him a little leeway to kind of find his way in terms of what he wants to do.”
If you remember, there was thought that Lynch might retire after last season.
“He’s a guy that kind of beats to his own drum,” Schneider said last February. “He does what he wants. He would never let you know one way or the other. There’s been a lot of great running backs that have just walked away. So I have no idea.”
There’s really no reason for Lynch to keep on playing. His body is clearly breaking down after an injury filled year in 2015 and he’s already got a Super Bowl ring after appearing in the big game two years in a row.
