San Francisco 49ers safety Dashon Goldson still hasn’t shown up for OTA’s since he still hasn’t signed his franchise tender, that would pay him $6.2 million in 2012.
According to Matt Maiocco of the CSNBayArea.com, Goldson is looking for a long-term deal that’s similar to what Eric Weddle received from the San Diego Chargers. He signed a five-year, $40 million deal last season.
At this point, we don’t know what the 49ers are willing to pay Goldson. But, at this point I’m sure they’d just like him to sign his tender, so he can report to OTA’s.
