It’s being reported by Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports that St. Louis Rams owner Stan Kroenke could end up moving his franchise to Denver or London if things fall through with a move to Los Angeles.
Rams owner Stan Kroenke is fixated on moving his franchise to Los Angeles for 2016, and the prospect of remaining in St. Louis for any extended period of time does not appeal to him. Should he lose out to the Chargers and Raiders on the rights to the LA market, the league knows it would have to work actively to find other solutions for Kroenke, which could include possibly London or Denver, according to league sources.
Denver makes sense since Kroenke already owns the Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets. The reason London is an option is that he’s also the majority owner of Barclays Premier League power Arsenal.
