The NFL has suspended Giants safety Will Hill for the first six games of the upcoming 2014 season after losing his appeal with the league.
Will Hill of the New York Giants has been suspended without pay for the first six games of the 2014 regular season for violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse.
Hill will be eligible to return to the Giants’ active roster on Monday, October 13 following the team’s October 12 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Hill is eligible to participate in all offseason and preseason practices and games.
Hill was reportedly down to his last chance with the Giants after already being suspended twice by the NFL during his young career. It will be interesting to see what general manager Jerry Reese does going forward.
