Josh Freeman impressing his coaches this offseason

Despite a very unimpressive 2011 season (he had a personal worst 22 interceptions), Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Josh Freeman is back to his old fighting weight and ready to prove why he was a two-time NFC player of the week in 2010.

Word from the Buccaneers’ camp is that the new coaching staff is impressed with the improvement they have seen from Freeman in this offseason. It appears as though his attention to detail and unwavering dedication to the game and his team has made the coaching staff far from regretful in their decision to provide Freeman with the best weapons they could afford during free agency: WR Vincent Jackson, guard Carl Nicks, and back Doug Martin. Only time will tell if this new and improved Freeman will produce winning numbers but at least the Tampa Bay coaching staff can breathe a little easier until that time comes.
